In 2010, several dimensions of my life were calling for purposeful discernment.  Meghan listened thoughtfully, patiently and wisely as I wrestled with the questions and issues that were consuming my thoughts and stirring my emotions. The discernment process involved vocation and church affiliation as well as big shifts in my theological perspectives.  As Meghan listened to the thoughts and feelings that found voice in me, I too learned to listen to my heart and to the Spirit within me.  My six years with Meghan as my spiritual director were filled with discoveries of new insights into myself, with desire to befriend myself even in the dark places of my being and with new courage to allow the Holy One to transform me.  I’m forever grateful to Meghan for her gift of welcoming and deep listening.  12_16
